The Role

Pearl Lemon is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources Intern to join our team. The HR Intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in various HR functions while supporting our team in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration tasks. This internship offers a unique opportunity for growth and development in the field of HR within a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

POSSIBLE Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate assessments.
  2. Support HR team in onboarding new employees, including preparing documentation, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.

3.Assist in organizing and maintaining HR records, including employee files, contracts, and other confidential documents.

4.Support HR initiatives and programs aimed at enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

5.Assist in conducting research on HR best practices, industry trends, and relevant regulations to support continuous improvement initiatives.

6.Collaborate with team members on various HR projects and initiatives, contributing fresh ideas and insights.

7.Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and handling inquiries from employees.

Required skills and experience:

– Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

– Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

– Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

– Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

– Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
