What I do!

 Honestly, I do a little bit of everything! Normally, you would think “assistant” is a boring job, and that’s what I thought too before starting at Pearl Lemon. At Pearl Lemon, I do not know what the next day will have in store for me. I do not know what to expect, but what I do know is that I will enjoy doing it! My daily tasks could involve anything from calling clients and creating content to simply adding items to a cart and clicking “Buy.” The unpredictability is what makes it so exciting and fun. To tell you the truth, my job doesn’t even feel like I’m working!

What I’ve learned!

The first lesson I learned was that I should be confident in myself and my abilities. From the moment I had my first interview, I learned that confidence is honestly what carries you. I need to have confidence in order to do my job, because I am working with clients directly.

 Another important lesson I’ve learned is that communication really is key, especially in this line of work. In order to be successful, I need to know how to communicate with clients and coworkers. And don’t be afraid to ask for help!

Creativity plays a big role in working at Pearl Lemon. Though the term “creativity” may seem so simple, I’ve learned that if you can’t think outside of the box, you will not be successful at Pearl Lemon.

I’ve also learned to be effective with my time and try to do things without wasting any time. It not only shows your coworkers that you are a great worker; it also makes Pearl Lemon a better company for our clients.

Most importantly, you need to be able to work under pressure because, like I said, Pearl Lemon is unpredictable, but that’s what makes it fun.
