About the Role
Do you love games and wonder how they’re made? Are you bursting with creative ideas and eager to learn what goes into building interactive experiences? At Pearl Lemon, we’re looking for enthusiastic, imaginative individuals to join our team as Game Development Interns — no advanced skills required, just a real passion for learning and collaborating.
This is a voluntary 3-month placement designed to give you hands-on experience in a creative, supportive team. If you show strong potential and commitment, you may be considered for a full-time opportunity after the internship.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be part of a friendly, global team working on real game and gamification projects. With full mentorship, you’ll:
- Assist in brainstorming, designing, and refining game concepts.
- Support the team in building basic prototypes or small playable features.
- Help test gameplay and offer feedback to improve the experience.
- Contribute to creative discussions on storytelling, game flow, or user interaction.
- Collaborate with writers, artists, and developers on fun, meaningful projects.

At Pearl Lemon, your 3-month game dev internship won’t be spent watching from the sidelines. You’ll actively build, test, and refine real games, contributing directly to projects that are seen, played, and critiqued in real time.

- End-to-end game design: from concept to playable prototype
- Core mechanics, game loops, level design, and player engagement principles
- Writing clean, efficient, and modular code for gameplay features
- Implementing UI/UX design elements tailored for interactive experiences
Campaign Strategy:
- Working with Unity, Unreal Engine, or Godot
- C#, C++, or GDScript for gameplay scripting
- Integrating animations, physics, lighting, and sound
- Version control with GitHub and project organization best practices
Real Project Execution
