Hey reader, welcome back!

You will not believe what I’m about to say: do you remember my previous blog post? The panorama I showed you with the autumn colours and a pale winter sun? Well, it changed a bit…welcome snow!!! How much I waited for it!!

Unfortunately, this pandemic situation doesn’t allow me (and you) to go skiing – such a pity. But I’m lucky to live in a place surrounded by mountains with little tracks yet to discover.

This week hasn’t started as I expected: bad internet connection, new things always coming up, bad news from the family frontier (nothing really bad – don’t worry!) for a 6 out of 10 of productivity. YEY…NO!

Must be back on track soon.

From Monday I started focusing on the social media strategy for the secret project I told you about last week, that I love. I know I said I would have told you what that was about, but it’s not the right time yet – apologies!

The communication with social media is not as simple as you may think. I must be able to write short captions down in order to attract people’s attention and choose the right image to connect it to the work I’ve done. I collected ideas for our YouTube platform (have a look at all our previous videos here 😊) and I finally realised what content I should publish online.

The next few days I attended Deepak’s training: sales fundamentals (in terms of cold emails and chats) and customer service (in terms of proper verbal dialogue). One more fascinating than the other because I’ve learnt and practised so many things that people take for granted, such as:

–      Taking care of first impact;

–      Make people comfortable, be friendly;

–      How to react when you make a mistake;

–      No matter what you say, but how you say it.

Transparency and emphasis are the key words of communication and all of us must become aware of how we state things during a client meeting (and more). I want to be different on that: put myself in clients’ shoes and take advantage of it to communicate in the best way possible.

I have fear of next week getting started but I can’t wait for this project to be “alive”, do my market research in terms of social media and competitors, and…make my Christmas tree! HA!

Hope you guys stay safed.

Ciao Ciao,

Giulia.
