Hello everyone, this is my fifth-week update! I can’t believe that I have been writing these blog entries for so long now. It feels like time is going so fast, I find it so hard to believe that I’m almost halfway through my partnership with Pearl Lemon. Nonetheless, even though each week goes faster and faster I’m getting every week more comfortable and happy with my work here. I’m starting to see results and many of the projects that I’ve been working on seem to be launching soon.

As you all know from my past entries, I’ve been working for Plant Sumo since the start of my partnership. My journey on that company has been very strange. I started off being the video editor, which was really cool as I learnt so much in a very short amount of time, then I did the social media outreach campaign, which was insane as I learnt so much as I was doing it. Right now I am the social media manager, and I’m mainly focused on Instagram, which has been a journey by itself. I have been on Instagram since I was thirteen years old, which is quite a long time if you want me to say so. However, I have always run my Instagram account as a personal account. I follow a few influencers and content creators but I had never been in that place of posting for a professional account. I have been aiming at posting up to three times a day, however, as the days have been going I have lowered it to two or one posts per day. This is because there hasn’t been much content for me to use, however, I’m excited because the video editor is now going to start working on Plant Sumo short videos for our Instagram account. On the other hand, another really exciting new about Plant Sumo is that we are finally launching this week! We are finally live on deliveroo and the website only needs a few tweaks to be finally done. Plant Sumo is a very promising project that Pearl Lemon has got on the works. Taking into an account the complexity of this project and all the things that take part in it, we have done a pretty good job in launching so fast. Deepak and Salim had this idea on the 25th of August of 2020, and we are finally live on deliveroo by the 19th of October of 2020! So much work has been put into this project that now we just have to sit and see how it goes. On my hands is trying to reach out to as many people as I can so that they know about us and try us out. So I hope that I can contribute as much as I can for this company to grow and grow every day a little bit more.

Another project that I’ve been working on is Omnireach. I have been doing lead gen outreach to try to find early buyers. This has been a challenging, however with this last search I’ve done I’m seeing so many results. I’m getting at least two people interested in it every day, which isn’t how it used to be with my first search. Therefore, I’m really happy with the results I’m getting with Omnireach. The tool is still on the works, but Deepak let us know in this week’s team meeting that the tool should be ready by the end of this month, which is amazing news!

And finally, the last project I’ve been taking part in is ResumeCats. Right now I’m not taking an active roll in this project. I have been managing the marketing team so I have been mainly just looking over what they have been doing, working on and giving them feedback. At the moment, in ResumeCats we are mainly just waiting on the development team to finish applying all the feedback we gave them and all the bugs the website had. ResumeCats has got many plans for the future and we want to officially launch by mid-November. Therefore, we are trying to get everything done as soon as possible.

So this is an update on how my week has been so far and in what position the projects I have been working on are at. I really want to get more hands-on with ResumeCats, but at the moment no one can really do much but wait until the development team has finished. On the other hand, for Plant Sumo, as we are launching this week I’ll be outreaching to many people this week and talk to them about Plant Sumo, this way I can get them to try out our product and get as many clients as possible.

Thank you so much for reading this, and for accompanying me during my time in Pearl Lemon by reading these blog entries. Have an amazing day/night depending on what part of the world you are at this exact moment and see you next week!
