Hi, my name is Bronwyn or as every one at Pearl Lemon knows me Bonnie, and I’ve been working at Pearl Lemon for about a month now as an Account Manager on the Pets Let’s Travel team.
When I first joined Pearl Lemon, I was both excited and a little nervous. I had read so much about the company’s culture and how unique it was — a mix of, creativity, and freedom — and I really wanted to be part of a team where learning and growth were constant. From the moment I started, I could tell I had joined something special. There’s an energy here that makes you feel like you’re part of a bigger purpose.
My first week was full of learning and discovery. It was fast-paced, but in a good way — the kind that keeps you engaged and motivated. I was introduced to different departments and got to see just how many moving parts there are within Pearl Lemon.
What stood out the most was how warm and welcoming everyone was. I remember being a bit overwhelmed by all the new tools, systems, and processes, but not once did I feel like I was on my own. Every time I had a question, there was someone ready to guide me. I quickly realized that asking questions isn’t seen as a weakness here — it’s encouraged. Learning is part of the Pearl Lemon culture.
Even now, I laugh because I know I sometimes ask a lot of questions — and probably drive people a bit crazy 🤣 — but no one ever makes me feel that way. Every answer comes with a friendly, patient attitude. That support made such a difference in how confident I felt starting out.
One of my favorite things I’ve learned since joining is how to use ChatGPT — honestly, it’s become my best friend! Before joining Pearl Lemon, I didn’t realize how powerful AI tools could be for productivity and creativity. Now, I use ChatGPT daily to help me draft emails, brainstorm ideas, and manage my time more efficiently. It helps me sound professional while keeping my own personality in my communication, and it’s helped me a lot.
Alongside ChatGPT, we’ve been introduced to other tools that make the workday flow so much better — from LinkedIn outreach systems to project trackers and automation tools that streamline repetitive tasks. Learning to balance and use them all effectively has taught me so much about time management and organization.
I’ve also learned how important it is to stay curious and open to new technology. Pearl Lemon doesn’t just use tools — it teaches you how to get the most out of them. That mindset alone has changed the way I work.
If I had to describe the Pearl Lemon culture in one word, it would be supportive.
Everyone, no matter their role or experience, is always ready to lend a hand. The team dynamic is truly something special. I’ve never once reached out for help and been ignored or brushed off. People genuinely want to see each other succeed.
The communication within the team is also amazing. We may work remotely, but you’d never feel disconnected. Through Whatsapp, calls, and constant check-ins, there’s always someone to share ideas, updates, or even just a bit of motivation.
The leadership team is also very approachable and down-to-earth. They listen, encourage feedback, and make you feel valued. You’re not just another employee here — your voice matters.
Being part of the Pets Let’s Travel team has been such a unique and rewarding experience. Before this, I never realized how detailed and intricate pet relocation could be. Every country has its own regulations, documentation requirements, and quarantine rules. Each pet has a different journey — from snakes and birds to cats and dogs — and every case teaches me something new.
I’ve learned the difference between pets traveling by road and those traveling by air, and the special attention each type of move requires. It’s fascinating to see how much planning and coordination goes into making sure pets travel safely and comfortably.
Beyond the logistics, what makes this work meaningful is knowing that every booking is tied to a family story. Helping a family reunite with their beloved pet, or seeing the relief in a client’s voice when they know everything’s under control — that’s the kind of satisfaction that stays with you. It’s not just customer service; it’s about trust, compassion, and care.
Even though I’m part of the Pets Let’s Travel team, Pearl Lemon encourages everyone to learn from other departments too — and I love that! In my first week, I worked with the Catering team, and I was amazed by how they juggle multiple tasks so efficiently. The way they manage their workflow and stay organized really inspired me.
It’s also been exciting to be part of the LinkedIn outreach campaign. Before joining Pearl Lemon, I didn’t use LinkedIn much at all. Now, I’m learning how powerful it can be for building connections and reaching potential clients. Understanding how to use LinkedIn strategically has opened my eyes to a whole new side of digital communication.
Every department I’ve interacted with has taught me something valuable — from time management to communication style to creative problem-solving. It’s incredible how much knowledge is shared across teams.
One of the biggest blessings since joining has definitely been having Julie and Deepak as my mentors.! Julie is like the calm in the chaos — patient, kind, and always ready to walk me through things (even when I’ve asked the same question twice). She’s such a great listener and somehow always knows how to make things click. Then there’s Deepak — full of energy, big ideas, and that “let’s make it happen” mindset that keeps everyone inspired. He challenges you to think outside the box, move fast, and never stop learning. Between the two of them, I get the perfect mix of motivation, guidance, and good vibes. Honestly, I couldn’t ask for better mentors — they make growing at Pearl Lemon both exciting and fun!
I also work closely with Catherine and Chill, who have been amazing guides whenever I’ve needed help. They’ve both taught me how to handle different tasks efficiently and how to manage priorities throughout the day. The way they balance so many responsibilities with ease really motivates me.
Having people like them around makes a world of difference. It’s not just about learning the job — it’s about learning from the people who do it with passion and integrity.
Looking back, even though it’s only been a month, I can already see how much I’ve grown. My communication has improved, I’m more confident in client interactions, and my understanding of logistics and international regulations has expanded massively.
Working at Pearl Lemon has taught me to be proactive, adaptable, and self-driven. It’s shown me that you can learn something new every single day if you’re open to it. I’ve also learned that mistakes aren’t failures — they’re just part of the learning process, and that mindset has made me braver in my work.
I feel genuinely grateful to be part of Pearl Lemon and the Pets Let’s Travel team. Every day brings new challenges and new achievements. Some days are busy and demanding, but those are the days that push me to grow the most.
What I appreciate most is how every person I’ve met here embodies the same values — teamwork, growth, and positivity. There’s a real sense of belonging here, even though we all work from different parts of the world.
I’ve gained so much knowledge, not only about my role but about marketing, automation, and leadership. Pearl Lemon doesn’t just teach you how to work — it teaches you how to think, create, and grow.
I’m excited for what’s ahead — to keep learning, to take on new challenges, and to continue contributing to such a dynamic and inspiring team. Pearl Lemon has already made a big impact on my professional journey, and I know this is just the beginning.
