Hey everyone! I’m Chill – Email & LinkedIn Response Manager . Here I am, celebrating my first month of working remotely at Pearl Lemon Group! 🙂
I started my journey with Pearl Lemon Group August 2, 2021. But I originally applied via onlinejobs.ph way back May 2021. To be honest, I didn’t really know that the job post was for Pearl Lemon Group until I got a response from Akhila. l googled it and wow- I found an amazing SEO company! I went through all the steps for application then a trial task where I submitted a PowerPoint presentation. But of course, I was not hired after all. I tried to follow up but got no positive feedback so I stopped asking Akhila. I was brokenhearted.

July 23,2021- Akhila chatted me out of the blue and asked if I am still looking for a job. Of course I am! I was really happy that day and excited. But still, I need to pass the 1-week trial period which I agreed to do. I was introduced by Marianna and Lydia and of course to the Founder that never sleeps- Deepak.
1 week trial period..
The moment of truth starts here. Akhila gave me some videos to watch for me to see the overview of everyone’s tasks. And then, here comes Marianna and Lydia with different videos to watch too. I was like- Wow! Do I have to finish all of this in one day? Everything was new to me so yeah, it was overwhelming at first. But I’m not a quitter so I continued to watch all the videos as much as I can. Marianna also started giving me the test task wherein I have to respond to some scenarios in Ulinc without knowing the context. When I finished my one-week trial- I felt that I enjoyed doing my tasks and I was amazed by the tools and how everybody is doing this and that. On the last day of my trial week- I sent a loom video to the group chat telling them what I have learned. And of course- I prayed hard and hoped to pass my trial week.

August 2, 2021- I am officially part of Pearl Lemon Group – woohoo 🎉 😁. Call me exaggerated but I am really happy when I onboarded- and so the learning period started. I finally met Tenny- the guy on the PL website chat box. He started sending videos for me to understand what are the tasks I will be doing within the Lead Gen Team. Akhila also sent me new loom videos for some of the internal emails I will be managing. And Marianna too for the internal campaigns in Ulinc. Bottomline- it’s like a week of watching videos for different tasks.
Now, let’s go to the real world of me being the Email & LinkedIn Response Manager. Because in my one-month journey with Pearl Lemon Group, I couldn’t even believe that this is me, now. I was never good with time management even email management.I don’t know how to navigate Mailshake and Ulinc.But hey, now I am giving some feedbacks with what’s going on with the internal and external campaigns, doing some reports and making sure I am prepared if Dee will ask me something. I have made some mistakes, I own it and learned from it. I have learned a lot with the PLL meetings and real time coaching and on the spot training with Dee. He is the kind of person who will always motivate you to learn and I have experienced that. So everyday, before I start with any task- I will always remind myself with two most important words he always mentioned during the weekly meeting – Integrity and Initiative. And those two words motivated me to go above and beyond..
September 3, 2021 marks my 2nd month as a full-time employee and I can say that this is one of the best decisions I have ever made- to be part of the Pearl Lemon Group Team and work with amazing people from different places all over the world. I still have a lot to learn and I will keep on learning! 🙂
