Are you a strong communicator who loves storytelling and building connections? Do you enjoy crafting messages that get noticed and collaborating with others to boost visibility? Pearl Lemon is looking for a Public Relations Intern who is curious, proactive, and excited to contribute to real campaigns for a fast-growing digital agency.
This is a chance to work with a global team, develop your communication skills, and gain hands-on experience in media outreach, brand reputation, and strategic storytelling.
Note: This is a voluntary internship lasting 3 months. A paid full-time role may be offered based on performance, but is not guaranteed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Research journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets
- Help write and edit press releases, story pitches, and contributed content
- Support outreach efforts and follow up on media opportunities
- Track media mentions, coverage, and campaign effectiveness
- Contribute to internal communication and brand reputation initiatives


We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Is a strong writer and confident communicator
- Has a curious, research-oriented mindset and enjoys finding the right media contacts
- Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in producing polished work
- Can manage tasks independently in a remote setting
- Is eager to learn, take initiative, and adapt to fast-moving projects
- Has a laptop and a stable internet connection
Bonus: Background or coursework in PR, communications, journalism, or marketing is great—but not required. We’re most interested in your enthusiasm and potential.

Digital PR & SEO Integration
- Learn the role of backlinks, domain authority, and SEO in digital PR
- Work alongside SEO and content teams to support PR campaigns that also rank on Google
- Get familiar with digital press platforms, HARO, and guest posting
Media Monitoring & Reporting
- Track brand mentions and coverage across media channels
- Compile PR performance reports, including metrics like reach, sentiment, and placements
- Learn how to use tools like Google Alerts, BuzzSumo, or Brand24
Crisis Communication Awareness
- Understand the basics of reputation management and damage control
- Learn how brands respond during negative publicity or public issues
Thought Leadership Building
- Assist with pitching guest posts, interviews, and quote opportunities
- Learn how to position executives and clients as authorities in their field
Internal Communications & Brand Messaging
- Help ensure consistency in tone, language, and positioning across internal and external comms
- Understand how to align messaging across social media, blogs, and PR efforts
Remote Team Collaboration
- Communicate and work with a fully remote, global team of marketers, writers, and SEO professionals
- Use project management tools like Trello, Slack, and Google Docs to stay on track
Professional Development & Portfolio Building
- Contribute to PR efforts with measurable results and bylined content
- Receive mentorship and feedback from experienced PR strategists
- Earn a Certificate of Completion and potentially progress to a full-time PR role
