The Role
As a Web Developer at Pearl Lemon, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites and web applications that align with our clients’ goals and objectives. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to create visually stunning and highly functional websites that deliver an outstanding user experience.
POSSIBLE Responsibilities:
Website Development:
- Work with design and marketing to implement layouts, designs, and functionalities.
- Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive, user-friendly pages.
- Ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices.
Content Management:
- Update and maintain accurate and relevant website content.
- Integrate multimedia elements with content creators.
Performance Optimization:
- Implement best practices for speed, SEO, and performance.
- Conduct regular audits to address functionality issues.
Collaboration:
- Integrate tracking tools with digital marketing specialists.
- Implement visually appealing, brand-consistent web elements with the design team.
Troubleshooting and Debugging:
- Resolve issues related to functionality, user experience, and compatibility.
- Perform thorough testing for error-free deployment.
Research and Development:
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Suggest and implement innovative solutions for better performance and user experience.
Required skills and experience:
– Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages.
– Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
– Understanding of SEO best practices and web analytics tools.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
